Yesterday, Sunday, after church my friend Mariano (from Ozark), Majd (from Nazareth), and Majd's sister went to Mt. Tabor and the Jordan River. Mt. Tabor is only about 2-3 miles (at most) Southeast of Nazareth. In fact, you can see Nazareth and Mt. Precipice from Tabor. Then we went on Northeast to Tiberias, at the mouth of the Sea of Galilee, where the Jordan River continues on down south.

I proudly am the first one to post a thread on this blog entry. I will say that the beauty of the land is about as breath-taking as your undeniable humility (nice beard by the way!). Seriously, I can't wait until you get back man. Finish strong, we are praying for you!
Shane
You remind me of John the Baptist or Elijah (at least what I think they may have looked like). I love the beard. KEEP IT!!!
The scenery is beautiful.Azar looks like a very likable man.
You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I echo Shane, "Finish Strong, Son!!!" Saying were proud of you would be an understatement.
I love you,
Dad
Yarg! O.K. Shane beat me on this thread, but he had better wait for the next. We'll see whose fingers can fly across the keyboard the fastest :) To you, my love, you are quite the traveler. I love how you are putting yourself in the pictures!! The one looking up at the church with the sun near the corner was really impressive. Good eye, Babe! There have been a lot of comments about the beard lately and my thoughts are that when you return, beard or no beard I don't care as long as you are back. I love you, miss you, and am praying for you.
The pics are fabulous! What an amazing site for you to see up close and personal!! So glad that you are able to experience different things like working with the kids and all...you look great, can't wait to see you..I MISS YOU MUCH!! lots of love and prayers, Mom (this comment really is from your mom!)
MARHABA!!
I am mad that it has taken me this long to find this blog. DARN! It sounds like things are going well man. I really miss the place after reading all your comments. Please send Azar, Ibtisam, Ibrahim, Amer, Rani (is he still there), and all the others my greetings.
You should shoot me an e-mail sometime (andy@msgf.com) and let me know if there would be a good time to call you. I have a sweet international calling card. If this is impossible I would love to talk with you when you get back.
Grace and peace to you bro!
